YWCA Announces Stand Against Racism Series - Healthcare in a Time of Crisis (Sept. 24,2020)

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) -  YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee is continuing its virtual Stand Against Racism lunch and learn series later this month, with a webinar focusing on COVID-19 and the impact on communities of color. We face two global pandemics – COVID-19 and racial injustice. At this intersection, nearly one-third of Black people in the U.S. say they know someone who has died from coronavirus.The community is invited to join YWCA as we address different levels of racial discrimination impacting healthcare. Experts who lead the fight for the health and well-being of Black people and other people of color amid COVID-19 are featured in this FREE event presented by Regions and moderated by YWCA President & CEO Sharon K.
