YWCA NASHVILLE & MIDDLE TENNESSEE HOSTS 10th ANNUAL WINE WOMEN & SHOES EVENT THIS MONTH

(April 8, 2022) – YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee is hosting its 10th annual Wine Women & Shoes sponsored by Regions at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel on Saturday, April 23. This event brings Nashville’s most extraordinary women together to support individuals and their families who are experiencing domestic violence. Over the past nine years, Wine Women & Shoes has raised more $2 million for YWCA to provide safety and shelter to thousands who turn to the Weaver Domestic Violence Center in their greatest time of need.Attendees will spend an afternoon sipping fine wines, shopping, and bidding on live and silent auction items.  Featured marketplace vendors include Kendra Scott, Dress for Success, and P. Sherrod & Co. The event features a Wall of Wine and the “Key to the Closet” filled with experiences, clothing, jewelry, and luxury items worth over $10,000.  The afternoon will wrap-up with an inspiring mission moment that highlights the life-saving work of the YWCA.The last in-person Wine Women & Shoes event took place in February of 2020, with NewsChannel 5 anchor and YWCA board member Vicki Yates serving as emcee.
