Wine Women & Shoes is BACK and SOLD OUT
Attendees from the 2024 Wine Women & Shoes showing off their Wall of Wine selections.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 25, 2025) – YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee is hosting its 13th annual Wine Women & Shoes, presented by Regions on Saturday, March 29, at the Omni Nashville Hotel. More than 600 of Nashville’s most fashionable and fabulous women will gather to support the state’s largest provider of domestic violence services. The event has officially SOLD OUT, but there are still ways to support the YWCA’s Weaver Domestic Violence Center and safety programs.
“Our work addressing domestic violence is more important now than ever before,” said Sharon K. Roberson, president and CEO of YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee. “Wine Women & Shoes gives women in our community the opportunity to help other women who are fleeing domestic violence and empower survivors to take control of their lives.”
Attendees will spend the afternoon tasting more than a dozen wines, spirits and mocktails. In addition, guests can participate in the “Best in Shoe” contest and grab their coveted entry to “Key to the Closet.” The shopping marketplace will feature clothing, jewelry and, of course, shoes from beloved local and national vendors. WWS will again offer an exciting lineup of silent and live auction items. Among them are a night’s stay and tickets to the October Keith Urban concert from Renaissance Nashville Hotel, a night’s stay with dinner at The Hermitage Hotel, tickets to CMA Fest and a Fire & Ice trip for six with destination choices in Sweden, Finland and Spain.
This year’s co-chairs are Roxianne Bethune and Meredith Riser. For the fifth year in a row, beloved Nashville media personality Vicki Yates, will return to emcee the event. All proceeds benefit YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee’s domestic violence services, including the Weaver Domestic Violence Center, the 24-Hour Crisis and Support Helpline, Abbie’s Safe Home pet shelter, Re-New at the YWCA, adult and children’s counseling, and other supportive services. Over 4,400 crisis calls were answered, and 15,250 nights of safety were provided to 365 women and children at the Weaver Center last year.
Since launching the event in Nashville, Wine Women & Shoes has raised more than $3 million for YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee to provide safety and shelter to thousands of people who turn to the Weaver Center in their greatest time of need. WWS has been named one of Nashville’s Best Women’s Event by Nfocus magazine two years in a row!
