Girls Inc. at YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee is dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The Girls Inc. Experience consists of people, an environment, and programming that, together, empower girls to succeed. Trained staff and volunteers build lasting, mentoring relationships in girls-only spaces that are physically and emotionally safe and where girls find a sisterhood of support with shared drive, mutual respect, and high expectations. Hands-on, research-based programs provide girls with the skills and knowledge to set goals, overcome obstacles, and improve academic performance. Girls Inc. also equips girls to lead healthy and physically active lives; manage money; navigate media messages; and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.

YWCA is proud to offer Girls Inc. at twelve schools in the Metro Nashville Public School District. We have provided more than 3,000 girls with life-changing experiences and solutions since becoming the Girls Inc. affiliate in Middle Tennessee in 2008.

If you would like to volunteer with Girls Inc., please contact Allison Adams via email or phone at 615-983-5144.

For additional information on our program, please contact our Director of Youth Development Services Brittainy Hall via email or phone at 615-983-5126.

We do not discriminate or exclude girls from our programming based on their gender identity or gender expression.
