WE WELCOME THESE DONATIONS for YWCA’s Domestic Violence Services & Transitional Supportive Services programs:

  • GIFT CARDS (Walmart, Amazon, Kroger, Publix, Walgreens, Target, Dollar General, and gas station) Gift cards in $25-$50 increments are very valuable to our organization. They provide an opportunity for our clients to shop for themselves - an empowering exercise! They also allow us to purchase items as needed, thereby alleviating our storage challenges.

  • New or gently-used all-weather (washable) coats for women & children in sizes M-XL.

  • New or gently used twin or full-size sheet sets & pillow cases

  • New or gently used bath towels

  • New bed pillows

  • New twin air mattress

  • Shower shoes

  • New earbuds with mics for electronic devices

  • Baby toiletries (shampoo, wash, lotion)

  • Pull-ups (2T-6T)

  • Sound machines (see link on our Amazon Wish List)

  • Journals

  • Slippers (see link on our Amazon Wish List)

  • Medium-sized duffle bags or small rolling suitcases in excellent condition

  • New women’s underwear - all sizes (see link on our Amazon Wish List)

  • Satin sleep scarves/bonnets

  • Face wash & lotion

  • Haircare products for textured hair (shampoo, conditioner, styling gel, styling picks & combs)

  • Gender neutral deodorant

  • Toothpaste (small or travel size)

  • XL, heavy-duty, clear, moving storage bags (see link on our Amazon Wish List)

  • New or gently used scrubs in pristine condition - all sizes

  • New or gently used women’s athletic shoes

  • Unopened dry pet food (dog/cat) with a minimum 6-month shelf life (For Abbie’s Safe Home pets)

WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT:

  • Miscellaneous clothing (except career apparel for Dress for Success)

  • Pantry items

  • Appliances

  • Baby formula

  • “Care kits” or toiletry kits

  • Feminine hygiene items

  • Books & magazines

  • Used baby gear (high chairs, cribs, tubs, walkers, etc.)

  • Used mattresses

  • DVDs or other media tapes or players

  • Used plush toys

  • Used breast pumps
