Volunteer↘
Our Work is Powered by Volunteers.
Make a difference in the lives of the women, children, & families we serve by joining our YWCA volunteer team. We are excited to offer several volunteer roles supporting our programming in Dress for Success, Re-New at YWCA, and The She Shed (community market at Weaver Domestic Violence Center) for adults who have weekday availability. We also rely on volunteers to help us with our special events.
Volunteering as an individual starts with a mandatory orientation. We offer orientation once-a-quarter, via Zoom. Click the button below to add your contact information to our list of interested volunteers to an email with details on our next virtual new volunteer orientation will take place via Zoom on January 29, 2025, 6:30PM. Those who have expressed interest using the link below will receive an email invite with all the details about a week in advance of the orientation session.
Volunteers must be at least 18-years-old. YWCA does not offer court-mandated community service volunteer opportunities. If you need to log volunteer hours for a college service learning project, please explore our internship opportunities.
Community Engagement & Group Volunteering
We rely on small groups of adults to engage with us through hands-on site projects, donation drives, event volunteering, care kit assembly, and other ways that provide us with valuable support. If you have a group interested in volunteering with YWCA, please follow these steps:
Please download our Group Volunteer Engagement Menu to see the options available for your group to offer its support.
When you’re ready to express your interest, please use this link and we’ll follow up.
If you have addition questions about group volunteering, contact Cade Fleming via email.
