2024-2025 Junior Board Committee
About YWCA Junior Board Committee (JBC)
Our Junior Board Committee (JBC) is a powerhouse of enthusiastic professionals dedicated to uplifting Nashville's women and families through their exceptional leadership, philanthropy, and unwavering commitment to the mission, vision and programs of YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee.
The JBC is at the forefront of expanding our reach within the Nashville community by actively supporting YWCA programs. With a focus on diversity in race, sexual orientation, interests, and occupations, JBC's membership, leadership, and committees mirror the impactful initiatives we lead, such as the Key to the Closet Committee, Social Justice and Advocacy Committee, and Weaver Domestic Violence Shelter Committee.
Monthly meetings fuel JBC members' passion as they delve deeper into the YWCA's mission, programs, and events, showing their solidarity through volunteer work, donations, and financial support.
While not a path to the YWCA’s Board of Directors, there are ample opportunities for members to hone leadership skills through leading subcommittees and holding key positions on the JBC executive board.
Interested in being considered for a seat on our Junior Board Committee? Applications will be accepted May 15 - June 15, 2025 via this link.
